	The Caesar Park Hotel. A very high class yet welcoming hotel, overlooking the beach, this is definitely the place to head on Saturday lunchtimes, here you can enjoy one of the finest "Feijoada's" around.

Miyoshi	Authentic Japanese cuisine in a friendly atmosphere, located opposite the ocean in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina. My recommendation: Try the Teppan Yaki

Parthenon Flats	A good choice for a relaxed break, well worth consideration if you are planning a stay in Florianopolis. Quality is high and rates are reasonable. The Miyoshi Restaurant is only 5 minutes walk!

Jurére Praia Hotel	Although I haven't stayed in this establishment I have seen this hotel whilst in Jurére International. My plans are to re-visit Jurére in the not too distant future, and this will be my choice for my next trip.

Hotel Porto Ingleses	Luxury beside the ocean, a very tranquil hotel overlooking the beach. Popular in high season with local residents, this hotel provides a tranquil getaway during low season. A very good choice for a base to explore from, There are many high quality restaurants within easy reach.

The Claridge	Located in lower Leblon The Claridge is only only a few minutes walk from the beach. Surrounded by high quality restaurants The Claridge is a good choice if you plan to explore the wonders of Rio.

Pousada Capim Santo	Located at 750m of altitude, surrounded by nature on all sides, the Pousada Capim Santo is a sanctuary of tranquillity with charm and elegance. I only stayed here for one night in June 2000 but I can thoroughly recommend a stay here.
